October CMS Multisite Feature used for multilingual sites
A second website needs to be added. To do this, go to System - Site Definitions and add a new site.
As a name I use the project name and add the country code. Example: Cocker Spaniel Rocks - German.
For the Unique Code, I choose a short form of the project name and add the language code, i.e., csr-en.
Further down under Language, we select de.
We now switch to the Configuration tab and click the Use a CMS route prefix checkbox and insert the /de prefix.
Back to the site definitions: The primary site still needs to be adapted: For names, we add the language and adapt the unique code: csr-de.
The new site has yet to be activated.
